Chris is a lifelong Idahoan who proudly practices criminal defense throughout Idaho.
Chris graduated from Yale Law School, serving as a Coker Teaching Fellow in Constitutional Law and as a Senior Editor for the Yale Journal on Regulation. Since returning to Idaho, Chris has practiced criminal defense in state and federal courts throughout Idaho–and particularly enjoys the uniqueness of practicing criminal defense in Idaho’s rural counties. Chris has previously practiced as a public defender and in private practice at Nevin, Benjamin, McKay & Bartlett in Boise.
Chris’s professional journey is not limited to criminal defense. He also has significant experience as in-housecommercial counsel for a publicly traded technology company. In this role, Chris negotiated complex commercial transactions with some of the largest corporations, banks, and insurance companies in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia while also helping manage complex litigation.
In his free time, Chris enjoys playing the banjo, drinking iced tea, reading fiction, and attempting to convince his two beautiful children that naps are fun.
